hi all, I have a list of jobs to do around the house that's as long as my arm and on todays agenda was laying laminate flooring in the living room urghhh. however I wanted to get a little bit of detecting done so I was up at the crack of dawn and down to my local pasture permission.

The weather was a bit crappy and there was a slight mist in the air but it was no deterrent. I used the XP adx250 again with near full sens, D2 with discrim fully anticlockwise ( seems to punch very deep and I don't get to much iron)

I could not believe it when I found a near identical Army cap badge to the one I found a couple of months ago and then 10 mins later another cap badge of a different regiment! If anyone can ID the second one I would be really happy. I flippin love army cap badges and want to collect them all now haha.

I hope you enjoy the video and if so hit the thumbs up, happy hunting all.

Very nice military finds.

Man, that second one just really looks super cool. I'm a bit ignorant on these. British?

Cheers for that crusader, the south Staffordshire one is quite a way from home, I wonder why it was up here in east Yorkshire?

I get Irish, Canadian, Australian, New Zealand etc....

Most of mine come from the rag trade. Shoddy put on the fields to lighten the heavy clay soil in my area. This might not be you case for you, but its not really that far out of place.

The area I detect was a artillery training ground just before the start of ww1

So more reason to get nearby Regiments.

Couple of very nice looking badges, good recoveries.
