I won't say where I bought them but its a seller on a respected site. What are your thoughts on these arrow heads? Value? 1548879997mvc-010f.webp1548879997mvc-011f.webp1548879997mvc-012f.webp1548879997mvc-013f.webp1549815910mvc-004f.webp

What region are they from?

It was sold as a sniders and kirk the sniders is said to be from Indiana and the kirk from Kentucky.

To be honest, the gray one is spooky to me.

If i had my druthers it would be on the white one.

They are from a seller on Arrowheads.com.

Buying points is a risky business. I have a buddy who can knapp amazing pieces most people wouldn't be able to discern from from a genuine prehistoric piece. You'd have to get an expert to examine it in all likelihood to get piece of mind on its authenticity. Best of luck with them!

The grey looks fake. The knapping doesn’t look right.

Thanks for the input I appreciate it. I have a time limit to send it back. Can you guys if you don't mind take a look at his site and tell me if there is anything that looks good? I wanted to get a few real one to know what to look for in knapping and a feel for rocks that are not arrow heads but have been worked. Cores and scrapers ect. So you guys think the white one is good? His store is here and the cost I want to keep it under 40 bucks. Thank you for any help. https://stores.arrowheads.com/store....utry-Artifacts

I cant really say fake with 100% confidence, but the gray one just has that modern look in my opinion, the notches just dont look good , leaving real sharp edges were it would be tied on, would not be a good thing, it looks like it was worked more on one side of the notches more than the other. and the fresh looking fingernail flakes still attached after thousands of years. just some of the things i look for. but i have never bought a point ,i have wanted to before but just cant make my self do it. i feel your pain. any thing with razor sharpness just kind of makes me Leary.

I am confused, his text on the site is contradictory. How can one give a "lifetime guaranteed authentic and as described" and only a limited amount of time to inspect and return?

Roy indicates:
" The item description is printed out and will include as much information as I've been able to gather with an artifact; provenance matters." what did Roy Autry say and what are the relics are made from?

How much did you pay for these relics?

I would advise attending a GIRS or CSASI relic show if you are interested in obtaining relics.

Thanks for the help. I paid 40 bucks for the two. If you guys think they are fakes I can send both of them back. As far as shows I am new to the hunting and finding so I have no idea about shows in my area. Bella Vista Ar. I wanted a couple of real arrow heads to get a feel for the real deal. I have been looking in creeks and river banks for about 3 months now. I found a knife and thumb scraper and a core but no arrow heads. Thanks a million for the help.

Seller said Gary Noel sold the gray one, any thoughts on the white arrow head?

I cant tell from a photo.

There is a show May 3-5 pm starting at 8:00 am at the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Springdale Arkansas

The white one may be good, but what do I know? I'd keep looking until I found one myself. The grey one, as several here mentioned, smells something fierce to me. The notching especially looks all wrong. Yeah, I'd send 'em back. You'll be so much happier when you find one, and you will.

Also, there's a show in Marietta, Georgia next Saturday as well.

Nevermind, I just saw where you're from Arkansas.

The white one looks weathered. The knapping looks warn from weathering. A lot of modern knappers use copper tools to do the flaking. The copper can leave a metallic residue at the pressure points.
