The intact one is a double button. Can see the rim on the back. Brassy finish on the front. Age? Coverall button?

One is badly damaged but intriguing. Thinking its newer. Front has a design on outer ring, back is a coppery colored foil. Button material looks and crumbles like pewter.

Thoughts?

Edit: Tried uploading better pictures, they look great on phone. Not coming out well here though. Sorry.

Victorian waistcoat buttons would be my guess... and if I'm wrong hopefully my wrong answer will inspire someone to correctly ID them.
