Two days of diggin..Gold & Silver!!

Yes I'm sore this morning...it's been slow here for the past couple of months for sure, but I walked into a section of beach on Wed that was loaded with targets. That day was coin after coin and a couple of silver rings, on Thurs returned to the area and grided as slow as I could and picked up all the gold and the rest of the silver. Ended up with a nice 14k saphire and a 14k band, the two nugget looking pieces I believe to be melted teeth, both 14k. With this storm moving up the coast tonight, hopefully it will bring some more. GL&HH

Congratulations on your finds! Gold and silver doesn't come everyday on my hunts. Living in the midwest I'm a long way from the coast but growing up my father took us all camping on the outer banks several summers. Some of my best memories! I was wondering what you mean by melted teeth exactly.

hunting deer...a lot of us beach hunters on occasion, (unfortunately), find crematory tags and melted gold nuggets, we think that the melted gold is from the ashes that are probably teeth or even jewelry, thx for the reply
