Thursday I was at the old beach in the same area I found the gold signet ring. Running the Nox on Beach2 nice and smooth and quiet. I was hunting a dense debris field picking out consistent, small targets and got a solid 35/36 VID. Stuck my hand in the water filled hole I dug and felt round and big. Pulled out a '43 D Walker half. It was pretty oxidized and a little squished, but I love it. Went back yesterday down about 100 yards further and hit a pocket with multiple coin signals. Popped a roached unidentified copper, a wheat, rechecked and got another crisp 34/35 VID. No way. Another Walker. 1917.

I cleaned the '43 a bit with soap and a washcloth but didn't like the way it turned out. I left the '17 as is and like it much better. HH!

Walkers are always fun to find especially underwater. Has to be more silver hiding there. Nice place to play
