Stopped at the bank and picked up a 40% silver 1968-D half, then got out for a bit today and got three silver dimes and three wheats. The cool thing about the two different 1916 dimes (no mintmarks) is they were in one hole!

That happened to me once, about 3 years ago.

I found my old post, but I deleted the text at some point. :(
Here's the link. At least the pic is still there!

I found them in a field area across the street from an 1890's schoolhouse.
I didn't think this could ever happen again.
We have a VERY unique club! Just you and me!
But my 2 1916's were about 50ft. apart, not in the same hole.

Sweet finds! Congrats again!

nice silver!!!!!! keep hitting them banks :icon_thumleft: i pick up 10 rolls a week on average :laughing9: MR TUFF

Great finds, Nick! Wow. You found two 1916 dimes - a Barber and a Merc - in the same hole! That's cool. Both of them are in outstanding condition. They must not have been in circulation very long after they were dropped. You are the Man!!!

awesome hunt!
