I started off with a very slow week of finds. Tuesday was relic hunting day and I didn't have very much to show for the effort of crawling through the briars except scratched up arms and bits of twigs in my hair. :P Decided to go to the park yesterday and see if the regular had cleaned it out yet. :D It was sooo windy and quite chilly but I was determined to stay till I got a keeper. After digging several pieces of regular change in the pebbles I decided I would go over to the sand lot and give it a once over. First beep from there and I found my first ever CC token! ;D I was so excited over this silly little token and my next beep turns out to be another! Satisfied with my two little tokens, I leave.

Today I went to a new spot that my hunting buddy Terri had lined up. 8)

Terri on the left, Lisa on the right...and yeah...your hair looks fine, Lisa! :D

A well in the middle of a pasture! This is more like it! So much easier to hunt here!! 8) Beautiful weather today too!

I ended up with a few keeper relics...no coins today. I hit a patch of some kind of musical thingy's? Stayed in the 10 X 10 area till I got tired of diggin' 'em. Found two miner's tags, one with a name stamped on it. My favorite find of the day was the button. The back markings are Browning King & Co. The front looks like UN CO? I don't have clue what the initials stand for, so if anyone can help ID it, I'd be soooo happy. :)

Very cool finds and friends there Nana.
Browning King & Co. was a huge clothing manufacturer in the late 1800's /early 1900's

Thanks, Beep! Great to see you~! :)

Thanks for that link, Gypsy! :) Now if I can find out what the initials stand for! ;D ;)

Ty...now you say 'organ reeds'....can you elaborate? :D Thanks!!!

Nana :)

And now for the die hard detectorist......

Sorry I couldn't resist ;)

Nice finds, WTG. I think that your UN CO item is actually a pin or button from the UNICO Oil & Gas Company. I may be wrong, but it seems to me that they used to use that emblem. If I'm wrong, someone will tell me but I'm pretty sure the line in the middle represents the letter I and not a division of UN and the CO.

Nice bunch of items you found. Some of those Chuck E cheese tokens are rare.

Congrats Nana. Not one, but TWO Chuck E. Cheese tokens!
Nicky P. is going to very jealous. ;)
Welcome to the CCC. (Chuck E Cheese Club)
Neat button too.

your hair looks fine NANA :D 8)

You're doing good, girl! Lookin' good, too!!! Keep at it! -Noodle

the reeds a are dufferant sizes to make differant notes --- my wife plays the church organ and is a music teacher . Uni co was indeed a oil company --- nice goodies esp the "named" miners tag --

Nice post and finds Nana! HH, Mike

Those finds are, once again, something for me to jealous of! You always find the greatest stuff and that is good because you are such a great person!

I don't see three hoodlums trying to "borrow" your machine though. ;) ::) ;D

Hey I have a few maps I am going to send you from around your area, these spots I have picked are all GREAT spots!!! ;) :) :D ;D

WTG Nana on the neat finds. Glad you all got out. Looks like a nice day for sure.

Catcha later..
