Never dig nickel tones, but today I decided to change that. I was revisiting a site that provided my first two coppers and decided to dig it all because of my previous finds. Found 2 v nickels and a buffalo (both firsts for me) all with 30 feet of each other. Also found a pocket watch winder and what looks like an old metal wallet (or picture frame?) and a makeup compact. Here’s to this year being the best yet!

Well done !
I always pay close attention to Nickle signals especially in areas that have been hunted by others.
Nickels are often overlooked - it pays off !

Congrats. My dug nickels never look as nice as those ones.

Took some sos pads and a bit of elbow grease… I’m so used to babying copper coins but nickels can really take a beating!
