Two firsts in one day!!

After 20+ years metal detecting I had never found a silver half dollar, or one of the new "golden dollars". My very first find today was the 8 dollars just barely under the surface, a couple hours later, I found the 2 walker halves together in the same hole at about 3-4 inches down!! The Mercury dime and the other coins were just an added bonus to a great day!!

All the dollars are 2000 except one and it's 2001.

Well I am glad to hear there is another fellow out there that has never found a silver half. I guess he isn't out there anymore I too have been looking for about 15 years. Maybe there is hope for me yet!!!!! Great find on yoyr part for sure...John
