Two pennies!!!!

So on my first day I got two pennies(both 1974), some tin foil, a lot of trick holes(I think I've got a high mineral soil and the manual to my detector makes my head want to explode), a window weight, and 36 dollars worth of scrap metal.

I have a whites 6000 pro xl. I need to adjust the settings instead of using the presets I think because basically I pick up a signal in any spot mostly. And sometimes when I dig something up and search through the dirt I've pulled up the signal will go away once I smear the dirt out.
