The first mark appears to be a Victorian crown as struck on some locks of British manufacture from the mid 19th century up to 1901.

The second mark is that of the lock manufacturer, Davenport, Mallory & Company of New Haven, CT, c. 1852-57 and c. 1861-64. (The firm was Davenport, Mallory & Lockwood in 1858-60.)

Technically, these are not railroad locks unless there are railroad reporting marks (initials) struck or embossed on them.
