I found two wheat cents first and was hoping to find a merc. The area I was at was small and I went over it quick I decided to change locations. I walked down the tracks to the opposite side of the bridge I was near. On my third dig out pops a seated dime. I found another one two feet away. One is a 1873 and the other a 1889. My camera isn't the greatest sorry I couldn't get better pics.

Happy Hunting Everyone

nice finds still waiting on my first silver dime

Not one...but two seated dimes! You must be living right John. Well done!

Nice work! 🙌 I've found some of my best silver along railroad tracks.

John, Wow.... that makes 3 , Seated coin's this year >>>> One, would make my year !! Congrats, buddy.... Even though you have limited hunting area's, you search them as well as anyone I ever met.. You deserve them... basssmann -Ray

Thank you everyone!! Thank you Ray, I think I found my new spot.

Two seated dimes in one hunt is an awesome day congrats...:icon_thumright:

Great finds! Basssmann sent me a text telling me about them. What a great day of detecting!

Very nicely done. Not to often you can find 2 Seated dimes in the same hunt (around my parts anyhow). If me and my detecting partner find a couple in a year, we are doing good.

Thats a great find John! How do you guys hunt along railroad tracks? I always figured it would be next to impossible with all the iron.. Are you hunting withing 3 -5 ft or further away from the tracks?

Super double tap!!! :icon_thumright:

Wow ! I only need one to cross off a bucket lister LOL ..

Great finds John keep it up my Friend!!!!Thanks for the post
