Hey all. Me and Mirage got out to the Iceberg for a little bit the other day. We didn't end up hitting the hottest area as much as we had hoped to. But we still ended up ok, considering how much we've POUNDED the other original areas. I ended up with 30 wheats, a silver dime, and a war nickel. Also got a cheap ring and two marbles.

Berg finds:

Different shot of the wheats:

I never got around to posting a few quick finds from the 4th of July. lol But here's all it is, the silver dime and 4 wheats. This was from an old school we've been hitting here and there recently. Brief hunts there still seem to be pretty worthwhile.

Old stuff from the school:

Thanks for looking guys, take care and HH! 8)

Looks like you pounded it pretty hard. Those are some nice wheats. Way to go!

Those marbles are GREAT! So are the other keepers. ;D

Super finds and great pics! Congrats!

Nana :)

Nate,
I hope some day I find a "Berg" of my own. You guys find more coins at that place.
I may have missed it somewhere down the line, but what was that site before? Why so many coins there? Old park? Homesite? If you can't say, I understand.
By the way, I love that blue marble too.
Congrats Guys,
MM

your marbles are ravenswood novelty of ravenswood wv...they went out of business in the late 50s....they are bunched in the wv swirl category...the oines to look for from this company are brown based...

That Berg is an awesome site.

That's what good research will net you.

The credit for that research goes to Dan. Yea, I can't believe the way things keep turning up there.

Thanks guys!

Great finds Nate and another awesome hunt from the berg! Glad to see someone rescuing history, the berg will be a legend and hopefully told by you and Mirage many years from now when the copyleft runs out. I hope you are documenting it as it is a rare site to hunt and remembering the details will be tough 20 years from now. HH and good luck with the continued hunts and history preservation, Mike

Nice finds Nate! Congrats buddy.

Love the photos of all those goodies, Thanks!

Smiles!
