Thank you, I just cleaned up the mystery find, here are a couple pix of it?
I think it may be a salt/pepper shaker?

You had a good hunt. Finding a nice token always puts the icing on the cake when it comes to a good hunt. I've Always liked those tokens. Had a few in my coin collection as a kid and I actually dug one last year. Congrats to you. :occasion14:

I'm having fun learning this water hunting, the water is so very mean to the coins, the token too. In the short amount of time I have to say that the tokens are useually the most interesting things I find. The values are amazing when you take into consideration that most are worth more then my 1922 peace dollar or even the oldest 1731 silver I found. I have not sold anything, it is just interesting to me. Thanks for your comment.

Thanks for looking and your always kind words.

awesome digs!, water hunting looks like it can reap some great rewards, im just afraid to submerge my atp even though we can, I just cant get myself to do it.

Have you ever had any issues with yours afterwards?

Only just recently when I forgot to put the cap on the headphone jack and went hunting in the ocean (Ocean City, NJ) I was dying to get in and had been waiting since Feb. after a nor-eastern. Forgot all about the cap, I took off the headphones thinking it would be easier. Couple days later I went to hunt and it was acting all crazy, then I seen the water inside of the control panel. haaaaaaaa I sent it in, no questions, they sent me back a what looks like a brand new control box that works great. I love Garrett! If I had the money I'd buy another one just for backup!
Besides that, Last summer I did about four days of hunting in the water at a different spot. never had a issue (cap was on , I guess!) Rain, mud, and snow, no problems.
Don't be scared, jump in there, other thing to keep in mind stay in shallow water. Come on down with me here in south jersey and I'll show you my lake and hunt in the cool cool water.
Just sent you a pm
