Took a couple of lunch hikes in the woods for this handful.
First time I have found a silver just swinging down an old farm path. Silver to wheat ratio 41-158, 9 more to go...
This thing
definitely looked and felt like silver,
stamped WMCA, looked it up and it's a ladies stick pin, Art Deco from 1930's, "pot metal". Oh well..
The large round piece is the back of a pocket watch. Stamp and serial number
looked it up and it is from 1868-1886. Extremely sturdy compared to other brass case bits I have found.
Here is the one mystery item.
Looks like some letters or numbers front bottom, but a little toasty. Any ideas?
This is my nicest drawer pull this year.
Nice high tone.
These were all from a couple sites I have pounded, but the weeds and fields are opening up a little more each week.
Good luck out there!
