I found this at a local park with my omega 8000. I'm really excited because I believe it may be my best find to date.
After about an hour on Google I haven't been able to find another like it. Any help in identifying my treasure will be greatly appreciated.

It is a 1937-to-1943 US Army collar-disc insignia. That version of insignia did not have a period after the U and S until 1937. Yours has the periods. Also, your disc has the emblem "applied" onto a blank disc, which did not begin until 1937. After 1943, that version of insignia did not have a screw-post for attachment on the back. Yours has the screw-post... and even has its original screw-on disc still attached... which is almost always missing on dug ones -- congratulations!
