My father worked on F-100's, 101's, 104's, and more. My brother worked on FB-111's and F-15's

I believe, as many other Americans, its because of the three wearing the uniform in that picture the USAF is the most dominant. Happy Veterans Day. Have a safe weekend.

I've heard the sounds of them flying in the background of many phone conversations I have with my son, who is currently stationed at Holloman Air Force base. It's the men and women in the Air Force uniforms that make those planes dominant. Happy Veterans Day and thank you for all you do for our country.

I salute you! Thank you for serving.
My dad was a civilian employee of the Air Force from the early 1950's to 1973... first at Schilling AFB, KS (a SAC base), and was then transferred to George AFB, CA (a TAC base), so I have many memories of visiting my dad at work on base. He was also a WWII veteran, serving in the army European theatre of operations from 1942 to 1945.

Nice pic, Zoomie! The company I work for in my civilian job produces aerospace engine and structural components for a wide variety of aircraft, including both of those in your picture. Before joining the MI National Guard, where I am an Engineer, I was an Aviation Marine for 13 years so I've got a lot of flightline time myself.

I am at Okinawa Japan, and the F-22's were here for a month this summer. Got to get real up close and personal. Seriously, it is fast and deadly looking just sitting in the hangar!

Nice pic! I agree with several others: the hardware is nice, but the people flying and supporting them make us the best in the world. I guess this doesn't qualify as "flightline photograpy."

My brother in law just retired (20+ years active) with the Air Force. He retired from Whiteman AFB, home of the B-2. He had something to do with the plane, but he was never very specific. That's okay with me. Great photo Guys, and Thank for your service and letting us all sleep well at night.
