With the threaded reverse and gold gilding still kida visible... I'm thinking Vietnam?

No idea as to age. I had them on my dress blues, USAF in 1975. Nice digs

Thanks... The pic of the back of the badge didn't upload, but the back is a flat washer that's threaded onto a small threaded shaft.
Still fun to pull out of the ground..

Your collar disk is what's called a "type 3" and dates 1937-43. Nice find!
