A peculiar little festival in Breck to honor the supposed snow god, Ullr. Mostly a locals thing. We went to the parade last week. I felt sorry for the guys on the traveller's information tips float cause from the looks on their faces it didn't evoke the crowd response they anticipated. Was a little cool in the low teens though.

Well Jason in Enid, in their defense, this festival is put on AFTER the Christmas break when most of the Texans, I mean tourists have gone home. Since they are locals, perhaps they are blowing off steam and letting go after about three 60 and 70 hour work weeks. Ah, screw it, you're right. There is a whole bunch of people up here that ain't right but they're fun to watch and I get along with 'em. (Some of them you want to keep a few feet distance away, you know, fight or flight.)
