Umbria, Italy. Metal detecting group?

So this summer i have arranged to stay with a relative who lives near a small town in the province of Umbria, in Italy. I will be there for five weeks and was wondering if there were any metal detecting groups i might be able to join while i am there. It would add to the vacation greatly if i could do some metal detecting while i am over there. If there are any Italians who know some legal places to hunt and wouldnt mind having me along that would be awesome!
