Today at my pickup/ main bank, I was chatting with my favorite teller and picking up some misc. rolls. She mentioned that someone had been picking up boxes of halves and dumping them the next day. I told her they should not let them order, but she couldn't understand why they would keep ordering for them. I don't want to be charged when I start picking up halves again, and told her that what they are doing is against what our community stand for. Of course I never mention silver. Not sure if I should talk with the vault teller, or the manager of the branch, but I do not agree with this. I never use their coin machine, as pick up from them. What do yall think?

I just posted earlier on another thread that someone else has been doing this at one of my p/u banks and I've gotten some of his repacked boxes recently. People shouldn't abuse the ordering privilege by dumping their searched coins at their p/u banks - esp by just bringing the coins back repacked in the same boxes. When people do this its bad for everyone and puts an added strain on the relationships most of us already have with banks as we try and pursue this hobby.

Pretty soon the nimrod will just decide to grab the jar of Dum-dums and search them in the lobby, shouting "SILVER!!!" when he finds one and then promptly dump the rest.

Kindest regards,
Kantuck
