So I found a bank two days ago that had 6 boxes(3k) in brinks half dollars. They were still sealed so I picked them up. Went through them all and there was nothing. How normal is that?

I think i read on an old post that brinks sorts out the silver.

Don't Believe everything you read on here....My ONLY good score on half dollars (32)-90%, and mainly all Franklin were in one box from Brinks

Very normal in fact-

just keep stacking, just keep stacking, stacking stacking stacking

Definitely not true. Have had some great Brinks boxes. 6 skunk boxes sucks, but that's how it goes sometimes. I got 12 skunks one week and 12 boxes with silver the very next.

Keep in mind that Silver halves haven't been produced for circulation in 50 years and people have been pulling them out of circulation and hoarding them since 1965. Not having the spare cash at the moment to play the CRH game I only know what I read here. What I'm reading is that they are quickly drying up.

99% on the silver we find in rolls today is silver that was put back from collections, not silver that has been floating around in circulation since 1965.

I find more silver coin today than when I roll hunted in 1979-1980.

The workers take out some of the silver, but the company doesnt

It is normal! Brinks doesnt sort!

It certainly isn't abnormal.

Very normal results, figure 1 in 10 might give you something. HH, Maverick.
