so i made a run to a old house i have beat to death :laughing9: only because half of the porch floor was removed for repair... to much junk for the detector to get in and swing.. but i looked under the other half and eyed some cans. so i said heck with it and got down and wiggled under to get some nice cans, two steels and one aluminum one ;D so after a quick pan of the yard and a wheat or two.. i decided to try my luck across the street at a old park school site.. well things were looking grim :-\ almost no targets. but i had lots of nickle tones so i dug all them and a few good high tones that were a surprise... total for my three hr hunt..$0.31 in clad, Wheat's 1918d, 1926d, 1945, 1948d, 1958d. Barber dime, full Liberty 1901.. ( silver # 40 ) War Nickle 1943p, 1945p, ( silver # 41 # 42 for 2010 ) hope to find a few more keepers tomorrow... best of digs to all :icon_salut: MR TUFF

Sounds like you made a go of it! Good hunting :icon_thumleft:

Congrats on some nice finds. I like those cans! HH -Garbageman

Nice Barber Dime... I found one last week from 1907, full Liberty. Good job...

sounds like you worked the place hard, but,you did come up with a good dime. alot of people just give up and miss a lot of finds. congrats! :headbang:

I love hunting under porches. The dry soil keeps the coins in good shape. I wear a dust mask and sweep the area with a mighty magnet to get as much as the junk cleared as possible, then go at it.
