Underwater connector

I have an older model J. W. Fisher's 8x and was wondering if the underwater connector on coil wire is a user DIY mod or do you have to send it to the factory?

Not knowing your skills on DIY project, To be sure it works i'd send it in. They will also pressure test it.

I would highly recommend sending it to JW Fishers. I just had a customer last week wanting to do the same thing and the customer and I debated on DIY... and after further discussion with JW Fishers it is not a DIY project.
