Have some funds available, and was wandering if I should get a 9x12 coil for my ace 250 plus some other goodies, or get a gti detector one or the other. I could really use some good boots for my feet and juice up the ace, whats a guy to do Help

I use a 250, if I were going to get an additional coil, I'd get a sniper (which I'd like to). Another good investment is a pinpointer, if you don't have one. But a good pair of boots are nice to have as well.......ll, sounds like a job for the magic-8 ball

Thanks Indianasmith, I'll keep that in mind, I'm was thining on the 9x12 coil, and the sniper. Not shure if I need both thou. I'm defenitly getting some boots. I'd like to have a probe, But I can pinpoint great with my ace 250.

It is, I have the same one. It's a few inches longer than what I gather is "normal", but isn't that bad. I was just telling my MDing partner how amazed I am on the life of the one 9v battery that operates it. I use good batteries, but I'm still on the 1st battery & have used it on over 15 hunts, and I use it alot. I think you'll be pleased with your choice.

Mine has saved me alot of time searching for a coin in the hole (or loose dirt). Also, if I'm finding alot of coins on the surface, I'll run the PP over the grass & can many times find the coin just under the grass, without digging.

lol.....that's why I mentioned I have a couple advantages on you, the pinpointer being one, and 2 feet more reach on my swings.....because you're vertically challenged (lol....short) :P

If you don't straighten-up & quit pushin' your huntin' partner down......Santa will leave you a lump of coal, not a pinpointer

As long as I still have the helmet & firesuit....... :P Oh, and the blood transfusion to get the color back into my "white-knuckles" I've had to up my potassium intake, seems the muscle cramps in my legs are from constantly stepping on an imaginary brake pedal........

lol, Marty now find yourself a comical hunting partner....like I did, it helps keep you amused during the slow times Let me know how you like the large & small coils once you get a chance to put them to the test.
