Unidentifiable Black Spherical Rock

It feels much heavier in the hand than an ordinary earth rock.The circumference of the rock is 64.4cm (Approx) and the weight is 9.876 kgs (21.772853 pounds)
Not particular sure what it is but i was hoping you can shed some light.

Judging by your measurement you found this in Europe. Question is where? Looks like a piece of basalt that may be hand made.

I found this rock in Shillong, India.

It may very well be hand made but to what purpose I dont know.
