This looks like a valve handle of some sort. It's not the usual cast iron handle with thicker body strength. Would appreciate any insights on its purpose, i.e., plumbing, gas, farm equipment, etc.?

Upon discovering two additional objects of same size and shape (one with a 1.5" screw in center hole) further research has revealed these are "stress plates" used in securing roofing and insulation by distrubuting force over a wider surface area than that of a screw or nail head.

Thank You for letting us know, something we will catalog down in our memories for when someone else finds one.
