I found this interesting glass vase that looks like it could be something worthwhile. There's a signature on the bottom of it and I can't make it out. I enhanced the photo as best as I could. It's approx. 7" tall at the highest point and about 3" wide. In my haste I forgot to take something beside it for size comparison. Thanks Everyone!

I can't make the signature out, but that's a really nice piece

Very pretty. It's what is colloquially known as a 'Jack in the Pulpit' vase (after the flowering plant of that name). Lots of possible makers. I can't read or recognise the artist but, just because it's signed, doesn't necessarily mean it's from someone notable.

If the signature is etched, can you trace it then post the tracing?

I tried the paper to trace the sig, but the bottom is quite difficult to do it. My paper tore after several attempts. Good idea you had though!

UPDATE: I was able to locate the Canadian artist that created this vase. His name is Daniel Vargas and he's orginally from Mexico, but resides in British Columbia. His vintage mouth blown glass vases range in prices from $40-145.00 US.
