Suspender part and another odd item

Will clean these up later and post better picture later. Don’t know what the button looking thing is. It has bird motif on front that will show up better when I clean it. Wonder if it wasn’t something else someone turned into a button. The two holes are crude. All in all a good day. Sometimes the items hard to identify are the most interesting. Good luck everyone. Picture after some cleaning. 1 5/8” diameter. I am thinking it at least originally. wasn’t a button, maybe a lid off of something that someone poked two crude holes in.

Could the round item be a saddle concho?

I’m guessing a pocket watch cover. May be too small to be an old compact cover.
Probably hole punched to make a whizzer to play with.
That’s my guess at least. 👍
