On the first pic, does it say "Belgie" at the top? Belgium. Can't make out anything else.

yes it is Belgium WWII Zinc 1 Frank coin...

I would agree with LaZoOro. There were 2 different forms, one with the French name first and the other with the Dutch name first. I have a few myself in much better shape of course. Its still a cool find, and I just wonder how long was it in the ground and how did it find its way here to the US. I know I wonder lots of unanswerable questions.
