✅ SOLVED Unknown iron and steel object

I'm looking for help in identifying this unknown object. It appears to be mostly iron, with a small steel portion at one end of it. In the photos below, I have a picture of it (very rusted) as originally found. There are three additional photos of the same object from different views after I used electrolysis to remove the rust. I found this object approximately 8 inches deep in an area where I have also located a few civil war-era musket balls. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
