Unknown sterling pin

Found a "vintage" pin today, about 8 inches deep. As you can see from below,
there are two letter "C" and "C", each in a separate area.

Anyone found one like this?

I don't really have a clue, but it reminds me of the pins they used to give for sunday school attendance. maybe you could ask some of the older locals in your area. my guess is that it dates to 1920's or 30's
