I am pissed off , my favorite teller left the bank I order from and now I have this new witch that tells me it will cost me 70.00 for 4 boxes (17.50 a box) .Holy ???? it was 6.00 bucks with the other teller if I didnt have account plus she says there is always a way around that ..I have a few accounts with these bastards totally about 20k. Anyways I am going have to do some talking to the folks upstairs the President , V.P etc. which I have known all of them for many years . Damn I hate being lied to supposedly I cost this bank 70.00 a week for them to order me coins plus the story changed half way through the first sentence plus I do belive that Brinks is under contract to deliever x amount of coinage.

I wouldnt care but the is just a few banks where I live and 2 of them will not order coins thus leaving one bank to go talk to. If they wont order coins for me I will be forced out of CRH .

Wish me luck thanks Ed

i know exactly what you're going through. i lived in a small town and had a great set-up going...until the dreaded "F" word popped up one day. had to change my whole game plan. CRH became a lot more expensive for me. drove 50 miles to a city, hit several banks and had them order for me. set up accounts at banks that had coin counters and started all over. and that was when gas was $4.00/gal.

it changed the game for me but hey...i still played and my totals actually skyrocketted. i hope you can work it out with your bank. believe me...i know exactly how you feel and you have my sympathy. good luck bro.

One of my banks charges me $1.81 per box. And I was pissed about that. Guess I won't complain any more. LOL What bank wants to charge you that much?

I guess we need to remember that banks are in business to make money. With the turmoil and financial troubles that many banks are going thru, it would not suprise me to see more of these "fee" stories popping up. Whatever you do, I would not start getting to pushy or show your ass at the bank, as you will lose that war. Let's face it, if the vault teller is screwing the bank manager, president, vp, or whatever, SHE will get her way. Good luck, Gpurs....

i was going to say that i would tell them to kiss my a$$ but i have many many banks within a 15 square mile....i feel bad for you guys in the 2 bank towns

I have found out from one of my banks today that they pay a flat rate for delivery service from brinks. If that is the case with your bank and you have so much money invested in that bank, i would be ticked off. I could see if you are actually costing them money but if they are flat rate also, then the only reason for the fee is they dont want to provide you with customer service. I am sure if they are on a contracted price they are not going to tell you that so you are probably in a no win sutiation. Sorry for the bad news.

I think your crazy for having so much $$$ in the bank. Good luck, Mark

I just went thru this awhile back.........BANKS LIE........if they don't want to mess with you, or your a bother to them they give the "fee speech" to get rid of you.

I dealt with wells fargo for quite awhile ordering 2 boxes of halves a week, they "LIED" to me and said brinks was charging them "EXTRA" to bring my halves. Well I contacted 2 other banks in town who also dealt with Brinks and they told me that Brinks charges a flat fee no matter what they bring. So I return to Wells fargo tell them they what I was told at the other banks, informed them they are liars, and cancelled all acccounts with them.

So glad I did because a few weeks after I switched to the other bank is when I got my dream box!

If they lie tell them to jump in a lake and get another bank!!!!! Stand up to them!

Some banks are charged by the box, some by the delivery and some pay a flat fee for anything and everything.

It just depends on what was negotiated when the contract was written. I got this directly from a bank manager. They have the flat fee contract and I can deposit up to $10000 per month in coin before a fee is levied. So far i have only gotten up to about $3500 per month in coin deposits.
