unstripped wire questoin???

Take off the plastic/rubber*insulation* that hold the three together.
Not sure of the prices in your area..
But around here for the insulated wire its around $0.80/lb, for the coated wire*3 wires inside* its $1.90/lb, and if I strip it completely so its clean copper its $2.65/lb

I suggest unless you need the space of money, take the time and completely strip it when you have time and are bored instead of watching tv or something and bring it all in, in the winter when prices are higher.

thanks. i usually strip it all but i have so much. and when i have the time i go out and get more wires ;D but i think i may save it until the winter now that you mention it ;)

Here in Va it pays all the same if it is insulated...stripped is a lot more.
