Christopher Columbus commerative token for the blind. No seriously, is the raised lettering brail?

I don't know how the crowned figure would relate to Chris Columbus but the other side does like an explorer with his/her arm raised pointing at something off the ship's bow.

I take that back, they are pointing up at something. Not out toward something.

Maybe it's Darwin discovering an albatross. No, um....how about King someone who went sailing somewhere.

Just tidying up some blasts from the past (including some very ancient ones), largely for the benefit of anyone searching the site for information.

That’s a modern toy pirate coin. Same reverse but different obverse to this one said to be from a pirate's treasure box sold at Barnes & Noble:
