unusual pocket watch need help dating......

Gold pocket watch, smaller than usual with the roman numerals on the face as opposed to under glass. Also note the roman number 4 is IIII not IV.

Need help dating as wellas a maker if any can help.

not that deep about 8 inches, that is shllow compaired to some of my holes!!!
