I found this in the yard of a house that dates back to the late 1700's so colonial relics would make sense, but most decorated dandy buttons I find are etched as opposed to stamped. Is this still 1780's-1800 or is it a later piece?

The material is brass and there's a floral pattern around the edges. There's silver wash still present around the edges and it seems likely the whole button was coated at one point before the ground stripped it off.

Definitely turn of the 19th C give or take a decade. Nice dig!
