I found this stone a couple of weeks ago, does the indenture look natural or is it manmade?

It looks natural to me also. You must remember though that location plays a big part in identification. If I were to find that stone in some of my hunting grounds, I would know it was an artifact because there is no natural stone there, it had to have been brought in. So it could make a difference depending on where it came from. Just looking at it though it appears to be a natural unaltered stone.
