Unusually shaped stone

Found this stone on the riverbank today. I was looking for arrowheads, so I kept it just because it stood out amongst the other stones. After I got home I did a quick internet search and found a similar stone on a site about the Abenaki indians.
Could the stone i found be an artifact, or just a rock with a coincidental shape?

Sorry to say but i believe it is a naturally shaped rock that sort of resembles a relic. I would have picked it up too.
 

i agree it looks like a natural formation.
