I took a trip up to Guernsey Wyoming today to see a customer. The weather was fantastic and when I was done I took a little drive to Fort Laramie that once was an Army post to keep watch over the old overland trails and all the pioneers following their dreams going to find what ever they hoped to find out on the new frontier. There are so many episodes to this place that all began as a fur trading post in the 1830s to it's end in the 1880 as the west was finally won. Other sites I stopped by, are the Register Rock and the old wagon ruts that were ground down by the many wagon trains going to Oregon, Utah or California. If your ever out this way, do stop and there's no charge to see it. It's just a little ways to the east of I25 north of Wheatland, Wyoming.
