UPDATE 2 cent after conservation, FANTASTIC CONDITION!!!!

After a few days of diligent conservation work on several coins I posted a few days back the 1867 2 cent came out in fantastic condition and here is a post of of some before and after. Sonic baths, freeze , olive oil, sonic bath etc. the cake worked its way off and revealed the best example of one of these I have ever found. I am pleased and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. P.S. Did the best with the pics but alas I am not the best photographer,most of the 2 centers I get are beat up ,badly corroded or holed. Hardrock

My 1867 is a spitting image of your's. Congrats!!! It has been a few years since finding mine but still pull it out every once in a while and take a peek at it. They are fun.
