Update on Eagle Ring Find at the lake, has solid gold, not plated

Hi all, I posted this a week ago, and thought that it was just a silver ring with gold plated inlays. After some cleaning, it turns out it has a solid gold wreath around the eagle. The ring is marked 925 inside. The area where I found it has been a popular spot since 1908, although I cannot date it yet. Anyone know when the 925 mark was introduced? I will take it to a jeweler and have a professional assessment. Gotta love this hobby

Oh Yeah! I would trade that whatsit for a ring anyday!
The brown spots on the gold come off, I will have the jeweler clean the rest of it, and post a pic of the final product. Btw, I found this about 30 feet away from that 1908 Barber halve. Gotta grid search that area! 8)

Great looking ring. Are there any other hallmarks on it? If so, it might be from England, or some other country where they used either "sterling", or later on used the 925 mark. Theres some info here about the "925" mark here:
