Posted here last week on whether it was worth it to continue searching for pennies at a site I found on a wooded embankment. Returned yesterday and now have the site mostly hunted out. Final tally just over 1,000 memorial pennies 1959-1982 , 1 quarter,5 dimes,3 wheat pennies and 5 copper tokens for Garden state Parkway and Asbury Park,NJ amusement park. Also over 1,000 totally toasted, rotted zinc pennies ( in the flower pot). I may go back again with my detector for any stragglers .
