Update on thin 1965 lincoln penny

I got an update on the thin penny. I contacted www. fredweinburg.com and he e-mail me back stated that the penny was acid bathed. I just don't see that, acid should eat up more on the penny where you couldn't see Lincoln or the Memorial. I tried a digtial scales at a local jeweler's store and it wouldn't register nothing.

I have two of the same thing. Super thin yet full detail. I agree there is no way that they have been ground, or acid bathed, there would be less detail than the coins have. Mine are 1946 D & 1959 D.
