Updated* Shore line of an old boat route produced one of my oldest U.S. silver coins.1854 half dime. Several bucket listers including a 2 reale

I started detecting here in April with small coil on the top of this shore line and for the most part it was 1870s to 1910s coins and relics. However, the small coil just couldn't get through the mid beach rocks. In mid June I switch out to 11 inch coil that the really oldies started coming out, especially when I put it on coin mode. This is a compilation of June 2025 to now. Few buttons not shown from july 18th. The exception being 2 slick coppers and a kg1 found a year ago a half mile from here on the same beach. Sunday I tried xl coil and while I've beat the place to death I still got targets. The only good ones were the seated half dime I need to run electrolysis on, a religious metal and another old cast iron oar lock. If anyone has any idea how to date them let me know. Two of the three here have been quite deep hence the lack to red rust.

I'll update this when I get the half dime clean. Definitely pre 1860.

UPDATED: SEATED HALF DIME IS 1854 WITH ARROWS

The Spanish silvers are a 1752 holed half reale, a 1773 1 real, a 17?3 carlos 3rd half real and a 1786 2 reale minted in Santiago Chile. It's my first 2 real ever and my first two milled half reales. I do have a half reale cob from this town , just not from the water.

Coppers I can id: kg1, kg2, 1837 matron head and a classic head large cent. The matron head is the newest pre-1858 coin here. Then there's a gap and it is mostly 1870s to 1910s wash out from the farm land at the top of the shore line. Outlier was the 1858 worn out trime mid beach.

Thank you. It's a lot of work because the half reales and small silvers come up like the sea of fishing sinkers here so it's dig everything. Pretty sure I beat my August 2024 to August 2025 lead scrap total thanks to here. Previous record was 13 pounds.

LOL, I have the same thing here, only with smashed beer and soda cans. I can't compete with 13 pounds, but right now I have 4 five-gallon pails full of cans.

Barber Dimes: 1892, 1898, 1902, 1912, 1914 and 1916 s
Barber quarters: 1892,1899, 1899-O, 1909, 2x1916 D
1 lone type 2 standing liberty from 1917
Mercs: 1916, 1917, 1918 and 1916 s
1- 1858 trime
Seated dimes: 1871,1873 with arrows, 1890 and 1891

The unexpected round items: an 1875 German 1 pfennig that was a pull tab signal
And a pretty toasted but somehow I got an id trade token for The Sherman outfitting co Newark NJ. It's neat as it has George Washington on it. The old good for whatever in trade.

Been native bits out here, though my friend is better at finding that than me. She got various flakes and half a drilled out stone pipe bowl.

The "DA" assayer mark on coins from the Santiago Mint, during the reign of Charles IV, refers to the assayer team of Domingo Eizaguirre and Agustin de Infante y Prado. They served as assayers at the Santiago Mint from 1773 to 1799.

Thank you. Fresh water. Half dime is 1854 with arrows. You have to be aware of the tide or you'll get very wet trying to get back on land.

Thank you. I had a newer detectorist with me the week prio and she followed in my foot steps of finding a Spanish silver before a barber coin. Her find was this Mexico city holed 2 real. I put coin mode on week later and found it had a friend from Santiago out there.
