**UPDATED** This Weekend's Project, Can you say POTENTIAL

Here is my search material for this weekend.

Happy Hunting,
Jason

**UPDATE**

This was by far my best nickel box ever. First box of nickels was all 2007P's :( So there was no searching there. What a disappointment.

Second box made up for the first box.
SIX silver's (3 in one roll, which is a first for me)
1942P, 1943P(extra Fine Grade), 1943P, 1944D, 1944S, 1945P

Third nickel box produced one silver 1944D
Fourth nickel Box produced no silver
Also got MANY pre 1960's Jeffersons

1938 & 1939 In about Uncirculated

1961 Very High AU or even Uncirulated

Box of dimes produced one 1962 Silver Rosie

Three boxes of Pennies produced a total of 82 Wheats, a Barbados, Brasil, and tons of Canadians

Earliest Wheat was a 1912D in rough shape.

All and all not a bad few hours of searching.

Monday I am picking up 2 boxes of halves, 2 boxes of Dimes, 3 boxes of Nickels, and probably a few boxes of pennies.

My goal is to find 2,000 wheats by the end of the year!!! and of coarse all the silver I can get my hands on.
Happy Hunting,
Jason

Nice looking batch of coins. I wonder if the CEOs and board of directors of Brinks and the other coin rolling companies are aware of this website and our CRHing activities. You know they probably high five each other if they are. We gotta be helping their bottom line to some extent.

You gotta love pulling those first-year-of-issue 38's. Nice find on the silvers, too. Looks like you found a mini-hoard if there were 3 in one roll.

Those are some pretty solid finds! That full box of 2007's really stinks though. How many pre-1960's did you find?

I always put my finds in the little plastic coin roll tubes and I filled 1 1/2 of them so I figure around 60.(I was in a hurry so I didn't keep good track) but 60 is about right.

I have help going thru coins so I can burn them up pretty quick. My two daughters(5 & 7, teaching them young) and my son(13) usually do the pennies(I only pull out wheats). My wife and my brother(when he stops by) usually help with the rest. These eight boxes took about two hours.

Thank god I found a dump bank last week with a coin counting machine, allows me to up my searching dramatically.

I am up to about 5 - 8 boxes a day, 6 days a week.

Wednesday I have 10 boxes of nickels, 5 boxes of dimes, and 10 boxes of pennies set aside for me at the bank which will last me thru the holiday weekend.(kids are on vaction, may as well put them to work ;D)

QUESTION???? does anyone have luck with boxes of quarters.(thinking about trying some)

Happy Hunting,
Jason

Re: **UPDATED** This Weekend's Project, Can you say POTENTIAL

quarters are brutal...every bar store and business that deals in cash uses them...there are some members here who do but usually in small amounts...there have been some good finds too....let us know what you find...good luck
BTW..i worked at a private club that only had quarters...they didn't need any other coin because thier prices rounded to the half dollar...i worked there from 2000 until july of this year....used to go through all thier quarters twice a week, around $200 worth...never found a silver quarter :(...did find some silver certs and star notes in the cash though
