I currently have a bounty hunter pioneer 202. Thinking of upgrading. What can you suggest in the $200-$350 range. I mostly relic hunt.

In that price range, consider the Garrett Ace 250 or Ace 350. You can buy an Ace 250 and a Garrett Pro pointer for under $350.

Ace 250 or the Teknetics Delta 4000,Both are decent machines for the money.

I have the Ace 250 and it was a good machine to learn on but I wish I would have bought a AT Pro or something with better features. I want a better idea of what I have before I dig.

Well the bounty hunter platinum offers a performance that in my personal opinion can't be matched for the price. The Garretts aparently are among the best starters out there but I would vote on the BH Platinum against the ACE 250.
