US Buckle and Block I

I have been posting my recent finds in the "Today's Finds" section for the last few weeks. But the stuff that I found today with the HF round coil deserves to be in the Deus section.

I have been hunting a construction site, along with some other local detectorists that is approaching the point of progression where we will no long be allowed on site. So we have been pounding this site. Some good things have come out of this site so far, as you can see in my posts from the last few weeks.

Anyway, had a great one hour hunt today using my 3 tone program at 26kHz in the rain. This site is infested with a layer of iron so signals are terrible, but with the Deus HF round coil military buttons and buckles were flying out the ground. I have much more cleaning to do on these, but wanted to share them now. US Belt Plate and Confederate Block I.

Ha ha, It would be tough to top. I have been very fortunate to get on a site that has this stuff and is masked by a layer of iron so other detectors have trouble. The Deus HF is suited well for this site.

Yeah, dug this one today and haven’t cleaned it yet. It flew out of the ground like you see it! I will post it tomorrow after I clean it.
