US Military Button?

Hey! I was hoping someone here would be able to ID this for me and give me an idea of age. Found this button on the beach and, it's pretty beat up but, still hase some of its gold gilding on it. Trying to figure out if it is CW, WWI, WWII ears or more modern. Thanks for any input!
