The scratches on our legs from thorn bushes are worth every beep!! We found and infant one-sie. A little creepy!

The two larger buttons are US Army "general service" buttons... meaning, they were issued to all branches of the army, such as infantrymen, artillerymen, etc. The specific version you found dates from 1923 to the present. We might be able to narrow down that date range if you can clean their backs enough to show us the manufacturer/supplier's name in a well-focused closeup photo.

The smaller button:
Your photos seem to show only its back. Is that because its front is missing?

Keep looking, the rest of the button set might be there!

We are unable to clean the the buttons anymore without ruining them. weI ruined the small button during cleaning.. But here is a picture of the the small button.
It says maybe Waterbury buttons co.. The land was owned by a family in 1730 and is now a county park. The house still remains as a museum. The historical landmark is involved in the revolutionary war.
